Northamptonshire win by four wickets and are T20 Blast champions. Magnificent performance from them. They were 9 for 3 inside three overs but Josh Cobb and Alex Wakely added 120 in 12 overs to turn the game around. A few nerves at the end, but it was never really in doubt for quite a while. Durham were a short with the bat, Keaton Jennings played very well, but the target meant they had to get closer to bowling Northants out. Mark Wood bowled with pace like fire, but couldn't pull it off. It's been an enjoyable day.

ali cheema: "Alex Wakely's efforts may go unrecognized but he has done a marvellous job, played the anchor role that allowed Duckett and Cobb to play these sensational innings today." Very much so. He's had a superb day

Ben Duckett "When you are three down in a final, we had to have some play a special innings and Cobby did that. It was a class knock. I hate watching, sat there when I can't do anything. You can tell watching us how close we all are. Everyone knows what they need to do. Different people have stepped up."

David Ripley "It feels really special. The players were magnificent under pressure. We've focused on white-ball players and worked on white-ball cricket. Staff support the players and the players win the matches. I was petrified at 9 for 3. These games still ebb and flow. A quality stand gets us over the line."

Man of the Match is Josh Cobb "Very special. We were here last year and lost in the final so to put things right is unbelievable. To contribute like that in a final is a great feeling. We were missing a few key players but guys have stepped up. Everyone pops up at different stages."

Paul Collingwood "I'm very proud. A lot of energy went out in that win against Yorkshire. The power that Cobb showed was too much for us. Thirty minutes preparation isn't ideal for the final, but it is what it is. The rain came. I can't be more proud of the boys, where we were in league to get into the finals. We'll be better for the experience."

Alex Wakely "The team have worked so hard, this feels like the proudest moment in the world. A lot of work has gone into recruiting the right people. No secret, a lot of hard work. Someone has always stepped up, played a matchwinning role. I'm so proud, a bit lost for words. It's nice to score a fun runs."

And with that, Alex Wakley goes to collect the trophy in pouring rain but that won't ruin the celebrations one bit. Well played, Northamptonshire, what a story. So, on that note, we'll bid you fare well. Thanks for staying with us on a long day. From Andrew McGlashan and Alan Gardner it's goodnight.
