A woeful day for Sharjah Warriors! The innings went nowhere as Akeal Hosein emerged as the chief tormentor, picking up four wickets and changing the script in the eighth over where he dismissed Denly, Hameed, and then Sams. Dickwella is the top-scorer with 22.

MI Emirates climb to the top of the table and have given a massive boost to their net-run-rate with this clinical win. On the other hand, Warriors made a fist of it after a decent bowling performance but the response from the batters was tepid and lacked imagination. When the powerplay didn't go in their favor, they started to panic and in an attempt to up the ante, kept losing wickets - it was a procession

Time to say goodbye, then. This is Rvel Zahid signing off on behalf of Ranjith and rest of the crew. Do join us tomorrow for the double-header!

Tom-Kohler Cadmore, Sharjah Warriors Captain: Still fully back (decision at toss), feel most teams will bowl first as well, lost early wickets in powerplay, as soon as you do that, you are gonna struggle to chase. I felt bowlers bowled nicely and we did drag them back. We were comfortable with chasing 180 at halfway mark. It's just about not losing wickets in powerplay, not whole lot of changes, for me, it's about staying positive and come back stronger

Nicholas Pooran, MI Emirates Captain: : We had to asses as fast as possible as batsmen, unfortunately got into mix up early on. I felt like 170 would do the job for us. Difficult to pitch to bat on, guys executed their skills really well with the ball. We worked really hard as group in terms of our conversation and this is the second game where we have bowled a team under 100 which is excellent, stay humble, keep the ego in the dressing room....

Akeal Hosein, Player of the Match: I thought it looks a bit patchy at first (on pitch), just about execution in the first over and hope it finishes at stumps. (With old ball), trying to make that assessment and see what's working on that day, I knew it wasn't swinging much so I was bowling the regular arm ball. Yeah it was so close, it would have been icing on the cake (if I got the hattrick)

Waqar to Muhammad Jawadullah, OUT

Jawadullah perishes as Sharjah Warriros bundle out on 74 which is the lowest total in the history of ILT20. They have capitated big time and succumbed under pressure, almost a no-show with the bat after bowling splendidly in the middle overs. Nicely tossed up delivery and lures him with the bait, he tries to go for a full-blooded slog sweep and makes a mess of his stumps.

Absolute snorter that explodes off the pitch. Bustling through and hammers it on a shortish length, he steps away to the leg side and he follows him at middle stump line

Gone! over the wicket, fuller on middle and leg, goes down on one knee and hits it straight to Fletcher at deep midwicket who takes a few steps in from the rope and pockets the catch down his throat. The supersub doesn't get left behind and adds his name to the wicket column
