11.45pm That's the end of the night then. MI happy, warm, cuddly, family-like. SRH not too bummed. We leave you there with the promise of being at the same place, same time tomorrow. Stay hydrated, stay happy.

11.40pm Cameron Green is the obvious Player of the Match. He says, and this is not verbatim: I think the first couple of games were a bit of a learning curve for myself and for the team. Just winning the game is the greatest satisfaction. Bowling at the death is work in progress. The more you get exposed to it, the better you get at it.

11.35pm Rohit Sharma, the winning captain, says, again, not verbatim: I have got a lot of fond memories playing here. Played three seasons, and won a trophy. It is important for us to settle the bowlers in. We have got a couple of guys who haven't played IPL before. It is important to back them. And they are coming into their own. I am enjoying my batting. I am liking what I do. Of course I would take the next step, but it is a different role. We have been talking about setting the tempo early. One of us needs to bat deep, but as long as we are getting big scores, we are happy. We have a deep batting line-up, and we need to make sure they bat freely. I like Tilak's approach. He is not afraid. He is not playing the bowler, he is playing the ball. It's quite exiting to play with Arjun. Life has come full circle. Arjun has been part of the squad for the last three years. I have seen him grow. He understands what he wants to do, and he is quite confident he can do it. He is trying to swing the new ball, and bowling yorkers at the death.

11.25pm Arjun Tendulkar says, and this is not verbatim: My plan was to just bowl wide and get the batsmen hitting into the longer side. I was itching to bowl, yes. I love bowling and happy to bowl any time. We [Sachin and him] talk a lot about cricket. We talk tactics and plans. I just focused on my release and the lengths I want to bowl. If it swings, it is a bonus; if it doesn't, so be it.

11.23pm Aiden Markram, the SRH captain, is the first man interviewed. He says, and this is not verbatim: Great effort to take it so deep. But we need to find a way to bat better. The pitch stayed pretty much the same through the match. Slightly on the slower side but overall a good wicket. The dew didn't come unfortunately. It is hard to predict. Before the toss we felt if the dew comes, it is a bonus. If it doesn't, the pitch won't change too much. Not too bummed about this. Obviously not nice to not win, but not going to be too down.

11.21pm What a storybook end to the evening for MI. However, the difference between a comfortable win and a nervous tight final over was one piece of lazy running from Washington. In the end, though, MI proved to be the superior side.

Tendulkar to Bhuvneshwar, OUT

first wicket for Tendulkar in the IPL. SRH bowled out. Misses the yorker by inches, Bhuvneshwar tries to go down the ground, but gets an outside edge to extra cover. What a moment for Tendulkar jr.

Whoever is bowling the last over will be hoping Green kills this game in the 19th over. Will it be Tendulkar or will it be Shokeen in the end?

Behrendorff to Sundar, OUT

lazy running. Two yorkers in one ball. Behrendorff bowls one, and Washington digs it out for what looks like a comfortable single to mid-off. David lets a throw rip, catches the stumps on the yorker, and Washington is casual. Not even stretching his arm fully let alone diving
