7.45pm Glenn Maxwell has been named player of the match for his 44-ball 77. Faf du Plessis, Harshal Patel and Siraj all played important roles as well. RCB win their third home game of the season. That's all the action from here, but you can head over here to catch the action from the Eden Gardens as Kolkata Knight Riders take on Chennai Super Kings. From the Chinnaswamy this is me, Abhimanyu, signing off on behalf of Sidharth Monga, Chandan Duorah and everyone else at ESPNcricinfo.

Sanju Samson, the Rajasthan Royals captain: "I think we are playing in this ground, I think 10, 12, 13 per over is chaseable. It was just about momentum and hittin a few more sixes. Normally Hettie does it but today Jurel was hitting it well. It was just about one shot here and there. IT depends on who is bowling and what the situation is and whether we are chasing and setting a target. I think Ashwin with his experience and what he has done in the last couple of games has delivered. That's what the planning was. I think with the IPL games, the winning and losing is done with very small margins so we have to keep checking our routines."

7.30pm RCB manage to defend 190 despite that 98-run stand between Jaiswal and Padikkal. But the big questions will be about some of the decisions Rajasthan Royals made, like sending Ashwin over Holder, and then bringing in the Impact Sub in the last over while still keeping Holder in the dugout. The decision for themto run two in the last ball of the penultimate over and the second ball of the final over to keep Ashwin on strike was also questionable. But RCB have done a great job with ball in hand and in the field, after Maxwell and du Plessis' assault with the ball.

Harshal to Jurel, 1 run

Short and wide, he cuts it straight to backward point. Virat Kohli pumps his fists as RCB collect the two points!

19.5
1
Harshal to Abdul Basith, 1 run

Slower ball outside off, he can only pull it out to deep midwicket and the Chinnaswamy roars with the win all but sealed!

With two balls to go, Basith has come on as the Impact Sub! No Holder. And 10 needed to win

Harshal to Ashwin, OUT

Picks out deep midwicket now! It's full outside off, Ashwin looks to swing it leg-side but doesn't hit it well enough. Prabhudessai makes no mistake and now it's 9 off 2 with Jurel off strike!

Harshal to Ashwin, FOUR runs

And why shouldn't Ashwin keep strike?! Full on leg and he swings it behind square and Siraj can't cut it out in the deep!

19.2
2
Harshal to Ashwin, 2 runs

Harshal nails the yorker and Ashwin digs it out through midwicket. Harshal chases after it and throws it. Willey can't collect and then tries to kick the ball onto the stumps but misses. Ashwin keeps strike

Harshal to Ashwin, FOUR runs

Oh that's gone for four! What's happened there?! It's a slower ball outside off, Ashwin is looking to pull and checks his shot in the last moment. But the top edge takes it over the keeper and the ball runs away! Royals will take that any day of the week!

Harshal Patel has 20 to defend in the final over. Ashwin on strike for the first ball, with Jurel in red hot form. Only four fielders outside the circle

Siraj to Jurel, 2 runs

Is that another run-out? Jurel works it out to long-on and Lomror throws it to Siraj, who takes the stumps off. But Siraj is not happy with the throw and has some words for Lomror. It was quite wide and Siraj's leg hit the stumps taking off one bail. The ball also came out of his hands as he tried to hit the stumps. Yup, the ball was out of his hands and Ashwin survives. More importantly for Royals, they have the extra run

18.5
6
Siraj to Jurel, SIX runs

There's a six Royals were waiting for! It's full on off, Jurel has moved across and he just whips it off his toes over square leg. It's in the gap and crosses the rope

18.4
1
Siraj to Ashwin, 1 run

Short and wide and he can only swing it away to deep midwicket

Dev: "Why did RR not bring in an impact sub? Riyan P for example?" Don't know about their strategy, but Parag is not on the subs list today

18.3
1
Siraj to Jurel, 1 run

On a length on leg, Jurel can only pull it away to deep square leg

18.2
2
Siraj to Jurel, 2 runs

On a length on off, he pulls it unconvincingly to deep midwicket. Ashwin just about makes it back at the non-striker's as they race for two

Ajey: "Why would you send Ashwin ahead of Holder when you need big hits? Baffling stuff. "

18.1
1
Siraj to Ashwin, 1 run

Bangs it in short, Ashwin miscues the pull to midwicket and it's just a single, but Jurel is now on strike

Siraj for his last over. RR need 33 in the last two. And RCB are behind on the over-rate so only four fielders outside the circle in the last over

Nice relay fielding in the deep helps RCB save a boundary! Drives a full delivery down the ground. Maxwell from long-off runs to his right and pushes it out to Kohli, who was running to his left from long-on

Willey to Hetmyer, OUT

Direct hit! Prabhudessai had one stump to aim at from cover and he nails the throw at the non-striker's! Hetmyer never even stopped running as he knew he was short by a mile. He hit it to cover and ran off a length ball and Prabhudessai's brilliant throw means he is back in the dugout

Full just outside off, he swings it down the ground on the bounce to long-on

17.2
1w
Willey to Jurel, 1 wide

Banged in short on leg, he looks to ramp it but can't connect. Willey took the pace off. Jurel thinks that was above head-height. He has reviewed it. This looks close. And the third umpire decides it was above the head. It's called a wide. Some confusion too as the third umpire thought it was the second bouncer of the over so he wanted it to be no-ball, but after clarification stuck with the wide call

17.1
6
Willey to Jurel, SIX runs

And Jurel has rocked that ball for a six! It's full on leg and he just flicks it away behind square and it goes all the way!

Kushal: "@Abhimanyu Bose - Arsenal fan?" Yes, but do you really need to be one to enjoy Spurs getting routed? Meanwhile, the speakers at the Chinnaswamy are blasting "We Will Rock You"
