7.45pm The broadcasters have cut to the second game of the night, between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings, which you can follow right here. It's a wrap from us for this game, however. We'll have information on who won the Player of the Match award, etc, as soon as we find out. Good night!

Mustafa Moudi : "Kuldeep Yadav is slowly becoming Rashid Khan - Always does well with the Ball, if fails sometimes then destroys with the bat !!"

Rifky : "Hasn't been the best day on the field… but LSG continue to find ways to scrape through just like GT"

Deenu: "Watched ball by ball in Delhi innings..Delhi perhaps lost in his last 11 ball 2 from Pant."

7.35pm After four hours and five minutes, we have a winner. A very LSG-like performance, with their immense depth of all-round resources put to very good use. With Rishabh Pant at the crease for a long period, for instance, they could only use Krunal Pandya for one over, but they were able to do that because they had so many other bowling options.

The star for them tonight is the hugely impressive Mohsin Khan, who finishes with figures of 4-0-16-4, his wickets including those of Warner, Pant and Powell. He's our MVP too, with a massive 140.93 impact points. KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda played key innings with the bat, but I can't see either of them getting the Player of the Match award ahead of Mohsin.

6
Stoinis to Axar Patel, SIX runs

full-toss, about stump-high, angling away from off stump, and Axar swats it for an effortless six over long-on. Shows how good these players are when the bowlers err even slightly, but Stoinis kept things together for most of that over

19.5
Stoinis to Axar Patel, no run

handsomely driven, all along the ground, to long-off, who's stationed very straight. And that's the match, pretty much. Full again on off stump, too full to get under

13 off 2 now. Two sixes and we have a Super Over.

19.4
Stoinis to Axar Patel, no run

slower ball, full and wide of off stump, drags an attempted slog-sweep to long-on, all along the ground, and he refuses the single

19.3
Stoinis to Axar Patel, no run

not quite an off-stump yorker, but full enough to deny Axar elevation. Drilled straight back to the bowler on the bounce

And that brings Axar on strike with 13 needed off 4. How is his hip feeling? Deep backward point, deep point, long-off, long-on, deep midwicket. Stays over the wicket.

19.2
1
Stoinis to Kuldeep, 1 run

in the blockhole outside off, stabbed away to deep point

19.2
1w
Stoinis to Kuldeep, 1 wide

looks for the wide yorker, slanting across from over the wicket, and he goes past the tramline. Juuust missed is line there

15 off 5... Mid-off comes into the circle, not sure who's dropped back.

19.1
6
Stoinis to Kuldeep, SIX runs

short, angling away from off stump to try and force Kuldeep to hit towards the longer boundary, but he steps across and pulls, and gets enough bat on it to clear the square leg boundary. What a hit!

21 to win off the last over. Capitals have an 8.10% chance of winning this. And it'll be Stoinis to deliver this last over. Deep backward point, sweeper cover, long-off, long-on, deep midwicket. Over the wicket to Kuldeep.

Chameera to Axar Patel, SIX runs

bad ball to end the over. Ends up offering a half-volley at the pads, and Axar flicks it effortlessly and clears the short boundary at backward square leg

18.5
1
Chameera to Kuldeep, 1 run

looks to make room and Chameera follows him with a full ball at his feet. Whipped to deep midwicket

Round the wicket again.

18.4

Chameera to Kuldeep, FOUR runs

shot. Slower ball, legcutter, just back of a length on middle stump, and he clears his front leg and swats it away into the gap between deep midwicket and deep backward square leg

All those twos he's run have caused Axar to twinge a muscle near his right hip.

Dinesh: "Delhi need a Tewatia here!!!"

Edwin : "I'm following cricket for 20years. I have never heard of asymmetric field dimensions in the international matches. Are these pitches used only in the IPL? Or am I missing something?" -- The same four venues are hosting all the league games, so multiple pitches on the square are being used out of necessity. If the pitch is closer to the edge of the square, you'll end up with asymmetric dimensions.

18.3
1
Chameera to Axar Patel, 1 run

stump-high length ball on off stump, drags a whip-pull to the left of deep square leg. Bishnoi's been a busy man today

Back over the wicket.

18.2
2
Chameera to Axar Patel, 2 runs

misses the yorker on line, ends up angling down leg, and Axar clips it smartly, forcing Bishnoi into a sprint and tumble to his left at deep square leg

Around the wicket to Axar.

18.1
1
Chameera to Kuldeep, 1 run

back of a length, on the stumps, denying the room that Kuldeep is trying to create. Flat-batted to long-off

36 off 12. Here's Chameera, from over the wicket. The next over will have to be delivered by either a spinner or by Stoinis.

Calvin : "Am I the only one who thinks the 3rd umpire Paschim Pathak's voice resembles so much of Sachin's." --- 23,478 feedbackers have said exactly the same thing today.

looks for the yorker, ends up on Axar's pads, and he clips it away to find the backward square leg boundary

17.5
2
Holder to Axar Patel, 2 runs

slower length ball angled into a wide-ish line. Gets forward and flat-bats to the left of long-off. They look for a desperate second, because Hooda got to the ball very quickly, and get it because Holder fumbles the throw, which, to be fair to him, was wide of the stumps

17.4
Holder to Axar Patel, no run

appeal for lbw as Axar misses a thigh-high full-toss while looking to pull. He's down in pain, and LSG have reviewed... It's hit the top of his left thigh pad, and the ball was on its way down. It's hit him in line with off stump or thereabouts, but the angle from right-arm over is taking the ball past off stump, so LSG lose their review

LSG's bowlers have made very good use of the asymmetric field dimensions over the last few overs.

17.3
1
Holder to Kuldeep, 1 run

slower ball wide of off stump, back of a length, slapped to deep point

17.2
1
Holder to Axar Patel, 1 run

difficult chance, and Holder can't quite make it. Back of a length offcutter, finishing outside off. Looks to pull, top-edges it high over the wide mid-off region. No one there, and Holder turns in his follow-through to try and complete the catch himself, but he can't quite make it even with a big dive

17.1
2
Holder to Axar Patel, 2 runs

full, angling across Axar, who plays a front-foot swipe down towards long-on, and Kuldeep turns quickly to run towards the danger end and enables Axar to take the second and regain strike

Holder.
