9pm: Right, that's a wrap for tonight. After taking a tumble in Durham, it was demolition Derby as India levelled the series. Valkerie Baynes' report will be in soon, and we'll be back to bring you the decider on Thursday. Thanks for your comments, from Sudarshanan and myself, it's goodnight. Ciao!

8.50pm: Time for the presentations, starting with England captain Amy Jones: "[Total?] Potentially a bit under par. After the start we had it was brilliant from Kempy and Maia to get us up there,. They batted brilliantly and gave us a total to have a good crack. [Positive throughout] Going into every game that's what Lisa asks of us. Want to play fearlessly and take it to the opposition. [Kenp fifty] What a talent, seen it through the summer with the ball and the field. To get a fifty in such a pressure situation was great to see. [Bowling?] Once we didn't get the early wicket it was that bit harder. India batted really well, they've got some brilliant players."

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur: "[Improved display?] Definitely, the way we played today I'm really happy. We discussed those things from Durham and put that into practice. We have plans for the batters, it's important to execute. Credit goes to the bowlers, the fielders did their bit. [Better in field] We want to show some improvements on that side. [Mandhana stand] Whenever we bat together, we have the confidence in how to calculate the innings. We know when to hit the boundaries and take those singles."

Smriti Mandhana is named Player of the Match: "After the last match we needed to come back stronger and level the series. Was pushing myself not to play a rash shot and take it deep. It's good to bat, good wicket. I found my touch back, timing the ball the way I want to. You go out as an opener and try to give your team a good start. I'm happy to contribute. [Verma partnership] Depends on the day, and the bowlers. She tries to dominate, but knows my strengths and her strengths, so we target different bowlers. Whoever is batting good on the day, it's not a conversation it just happens."

8.45pm: Superb stuff from Smriti Mandhana, and India proved just how underpowered England's effort was. The hosts weren't aided by trying to bowl with a slippery ball, but their real issue was a tepid batting display in which they fell to 54 for 5 before leaning heavily on an impressive maiden fifty from 17-year-old Freya Kemp. So India bounce back strongly to set up a series decider in Bristol on Thursday evening
