But for now, it's a wrap from us. Thank you for joining in, hope you enjoyed our coverage. It's goodbye from me, Ekanth, my fellow-commentator Himanshu Agrawal, and our scorer, Ranjith P.

The Indian team cheers with Avesh holding the trophy. India end the ODI series with a whitewash. After the first two competitive games, this one was one-sided. The rain interruptions added complexities with the irregular start-stops, cut-off a century for Gill but could not stop him earning the player of the match and series accolades. India were clinical, West Indies' progress has had a setback but this series did not carry World Cup super league points. So they can take the learnings to the future, particularly to when they face New Zealand at home, when the points will be at stake. Before that, they will face India in T20Is at Trinidad and Tobago, St Kitts, and the United States.

Shikhar Dhawan, India Captain: My boys are young in age but played maturely. They showed common sense and handled themselves well. The whole team performed which is important. I'm pleased with my form, I know how to convert 50s into 100s. Got out on 97 in the first game, even today I was good. I took a risk to up the run rate and got out, so it's good regardless. (On Gill) it happens sometimes, the 98 was good. He timed the ball well. The way Shreyas and how everyone responded was great. We great grateful and lucky, lots from different countries. I'm proud of our bowling wickets, they gave their 100%, Siraj took two early, Axar, Chahal, Shardul - everyone deserves credit.

Shubman Gill, POTM and POTS for 98* and 205 runs overall: It was bittersweet, I was expecting to get 100. It was not under my control as it rained, but I was happy with my innings. I was disappointed with how I got out in the first two matches, I tried to rotate strike. After the rain break, we let our instincts take over. I just wanted one more over when we walked out before the last break. The wickets were good, I thought the ball was gripping after 25-30 overs but they were great.

Nicholas Pooran, West Indies Captain: Tough one for us, felt we could have been on the other side of the series. Today, we did not show up. We've had a lot of games in a short period of time. We'll go with a lot learnings to the next game. We thought we had it halfway, with DLS. 7 rpo was a challenge, not getting a good start and not stringing partnerships led to the loss. We have a young team, they're inexperienced and understanding. India played outstandingly, congrats to them. I'm expecting guys to get better, learn about their game. Hopefully, we'll do well against New Zealand. The batters were good in two games, the bowlers too we didn't get wickets but we are ticking boxes. Guys are getting more confident and hope we can get super league points. We just won a T20 series, so hope we continue to entertain the crowd and perform well.

Adarsh: "Sampath reminded us of the 2007 world cup. Still stings badly "

Stat from Sampath: India have gone 12 consecutive ODIs in Port of Spain without a defeat since losing to Sri Lanka in the 2007 World Cup (11 wins, 1 no result).

Mustafa Moudi : "WI Lost, Scotland Lost, South Africa Lost and Pakistan chasing an impossible target of 508. This day definitely belongs to defending sides !!"

Shravan: "Chahal Seales the match :("

5:37 pm: Smiles all round among the Indian camp. West Indies contended, almost toppled India in the first two ODIs but were blown away in the third. Gill stood tall with the bat, Siraj and Chahal with the ball. Mayers and Brooks went for ducks, Siraj swung it to give early breakthroughs, Shardul used the cutters and into-the-pitch balls well. Chahal cleared up the tail. Hope got a start. King and Pooran got going but could not convert decent scores to big ones. Carty could not get going. They lost their last five wickets just under five overs.

Chahal to Seales, OUT

India win 3-0.! Swept in the air, taken at short fine leg, this was full on the pads, lobbed up invitingly and Seales went for the hard sweep but it went off the edge. Chahal closes out with a four-fer.

Chahal to Walsh, OUT

Edged and taken at slip! Chahal lobbed it up full and wide, right into the that grainy patch, Walsh reached out and tried to drive it with a horizontal bat, looking to emulate the shot from the last over. It popped out of the edge and ballooned gently to Dhawan's bread-basket. Walsh whacks his bat in disgust.
