Will Owen

Seamer Will Owen's career was progressing nicely until he was stalled by injury. He is now trying to win his place back in the Glamorgan first team. He made his debut in 2007 and by 2011 was a regular, taking 30 first-class wickets and also made 69 against Derbyshire, sharing a club-record tenth wicket stand with James Harris; he was also a fixture in both one-day sides. But he struggled with injury and played only five Championship matches and a handful of one-dayers over the next two seasons. He returned to fitness for 2014 but his chances in the first XI were largely limited to T20 and he proved expensive, conceding over 10-an-over in 10 matches.
