Callum Taylor

An aggressive middle-order batsman and a useful offspinner to boot, Callum Taylor signed professional terms with Glamorgan in 2019 after impressing in club cricket for Newport and in the county's Second XI. He made his first-team debut that season, playing four games in the T20 Blast, but had little opportunity to showcase his talents.

Taylor's father, Matthew, is a former captain of Pontypool RFC, and Callum himself was a handy rugby player growing up. He was born in Newport, but spent most of his childhood growing up in Queensland, and speaks with an Australian accent.
