3rd ODI, Hamilton

New Zealand v South Africa, 2014-15

At Hamilton, October 27, 2014. No result. Toss: New Zealand.
Staging cricket on the other side of the Kaimai Range in October proved too ambitious: Hamilton's Labour Day weather allowed only 30.4 overs. South Africa, sent in under cloudy skies on a pitch with some life, made three changes, but were still set for another big total before the heavens opened on 157 for three. De Kock looked good from the start, punishing anything on leg stump as he moved serenely to 80. New Zealand handed a second one-day cap to Matt Henry, after four wickets against India on debut in January, and he had some impressive moments, removing Amla and Rossouw courtesy of leading edges.
