2nd Twenty20 International, Dominica

West Indies v New Zealand, 2014

At Roseau, Dominica, July 6, 2014. Second Twenty20 international: West Indies won by 39 runs.
New Zealand chose to bowl, after Kane Williamson - captaining so McCullum could have a breather - completed a clean sweep of tosses in all seven tour matches. After Dwayne Smith fell in the third over for the second day running, West Indies were again driven by Fletcher, who completed his highest score in 36 international matches, 62 from 49 balls. Spectacular boundary catches by Anderson and Boult, both flicked back in from over the rope, matched the thrill of West Indies' hitting. The target was trickier than it looked, as the outfield was sluggish following the previous day's rain; Samuel Badree and Sunil Narine made the chase even more difficult with three for 39 from eight overs, while Sheldon Cottrell supplied incisive pace. Williamson top-scored, but New Zealand were always well behind the required rate.
