Zimbabwe v Pakistan, 2013-14

At Harare, August 24, 2013. Second Twenty20 international: Pakistan won by 19 runs. Pakistan 179-1 (20 overs) (Ahmed Shehzad 98*, Mohammad Hafeez 54*); ‡Zimbabwe 160-6 (20 overs) (H. Masakadza 41, E. Chigumbura 35*; Mohammad Hafeez 3-30). MoM: Ahmed Shehzad. MoS: Ahmed Shehzad. The second game was a repeat of the first, only with the numbers inflated. Shehzad again top-scored, but with greater dynamism through the leg side. He needed to hit three from the final ball, his 64th, to become Pakistan's first Twenty20 international centurion - he had already broken Misbah-ul-Haq's national record of 87*, against Bangladesh at Karachi in 2007-08 - but could manage only a single to deep midwicket. Zulfiqar Babar (2-21) and Mohammad Hafeez both started with maidens, as Sibanda (23 off 33) once more acted as a dead weight rather than an anchor. Chigumbura's feisty 35* made the run-chase look closer than it actually was.
