Australia v West Indies, women's World Twenty20 semi-final, Colombo

Women's World Twenty20 2012-13

At Colombo (RPS), October 5, 2012. Australia won by 28 runs. ‡Australia 115-7 (20 overs); West Indies 87 (19.2 overs) (J. B. Nero 31; J. L. Hunter 5-22). PoM: E. A. Perry (Australia). Perry, the fastest bowler in women's cricket, castled Taylor and Dottin, both playing across the line, to reduce West Indies to 23-3; she also inadvertently ran out Shemaine Campbelle at the non-striker's end when deflecting a return catch on to the stumps. Julie Hunter took advantage of West Indies' desperation to claim the tournament's only five-wicket haul, and the best figures by an Australian in women's Twenty20 internationals.
