For a change, West Indies were set back by two of Bangladesh's quicker bowlers, each in his first international of the tour. Mahbubul Alam's first ball was a wide, his second removed 19-year-old debutant left-hander Kieran Powell; at the other end, Nazmul Hossain bowled Smith with his seventh delivery. Fletcher responded with three sixes in 52 off 42 balls, but he was not the only West Indian seduced by the short boundaries and caught in the deep. Reifer spent 79 balls over 40, his only decent score of the series, and Sammy supplied late momentum with 40 off 33. Tamim Iqbal punched five fours in Roach's first two overs but, once he drove Sammy to mid-on, the balance swung back towards West Indies. It was even at 133 for five, when Roach bowled Junaid Siddique leg stump in the 28th over, but shifted moments later when he had Mahmudullah dropped at slip. Mahmudullah proceeded to an unbeaten 51, guiding Bangladesh to a series sweep with seven balls remaining.

Man of the Match: Mahmudullah. Man of the Series: Shakib Al Hasan.
