Although Chris Gayle departed second ball, Andre Fletcher spanked seven sixes and three fours from 66 balls, and the Superstars' total always looked beyond Middlesex, whose highest score was Eoin Morgan's 22. In all the Superstars hit 14 sixes, four of them by Kieron Pollard (27 not out from nine balls), including three off the first three balls of the final over of the innings, bowled by Tyron Henderson.
