India v South Africa 1996-97

At Mumbai, December 14, India won by 74 runs. Toss: India. India maintained their advantage in a one-off match, staged as a benefit for former Test batsman Mohinder Amaranth. Batting freely on his home ground, Tendulkar made the most of two lives to score a brisk 114. Jadeja boosted the total with 54 from 44 balls, hitting his fourth six off the last delivery of the innings, bowled by Adams. Few of the South Africans made their mark in reply, and Prasad ended the game by claiming his fourth wicket with four overs to go. Earlier, the match had been interrupted when the crowd responded to Azharuddin's dismissal by throwing plastic water bottles at Adams; Cronje led his team off for 20 minutes.
