At 206 for four from 43.1 overs, Zimbabwe were progressing steadily towards their target of 250. Then came a brief shower and they had to get 38 from 23 balls. With two overs left they still needed 20. But 16 came from the penultimate over, bowled by Asif Karim, and Zimbabwe won with three balls to spare. For Kenya, Otieno continued his excellent form to score 87, but he had little support.
