India v Zimbabwe

At Sharjah, November 11 (day/night). Zimbabwe won by 13 runs. Toss: India.

With their places in the final secure, each team rested three regulars. But while the Indian reserves made little impression, Zimbabwean pace bowler Olonga, in a rare one-day appearance, wiped out India's top four to set up a narrow win. Shuffling his batting order, Campbell came in at No. 6 to score an unbeaten 83, and push Zimbabwe past 200. Then Olonga burst into action, leaving India 75 for five. Though Robin Singh and Chopra gave it their best, Zimbabwe bowled and fielded their way to a morale-boosting victory.

Man of the Match: H. K. Olonga
