Fifth One-day International

†PAKISTAN v WEST INDIES 1986-87

At Hyderabad, November 18. Pakistan won by 11 runs. Winning the toss for the first time on the tour, Richards put Pakistan in and saw them recover from 24 for two through partnerships between Miandad and Ramiz, Manzoor and Ijaz (54 in seven overs) and finally Imran and Yousuf. Haynes and Richardson provided a platform for a later charge, but Pakistan's bowlers held a tight rein and ensured that West Indies would not enjoy a clean sweep of the one-day internationals. Qadir broke a finger on his left hand trying to catch Haynes off his own bowling but had the satisfaction of dismissing Richards first ball.

Man of the Match: Imran Khan.
