†WEST INDIES v NEW ZEALAND 1984-85

At Port-of-Spain, March 27. West Indies won by six wickets after rain had reduced the match to 22 overs an innings. Sent in on a pitch that rendered Garner and Davis almost unplayable, New Zealand were 9 for three in the sixth over and were struggling to recover when the weather intervened. West Indies then had a straightforward task, even though New Zealand had the consolation of taking four wickets. The match was a disappointment to a crowd of over 25,000.
