Ireland v Australia

Second one-day international At Benoni, September 27, 2016. Australia won by nine wickets. ‡Ireland 198 (43.5 overs); Australia 199-1 (30.1 overs) (U. T. Khawaja 82*, S. P. D. Smith 59*). MoM: U. T. Khawaja. ODI debut: D. J. Worrall (Australia). Ireland began strongly against a secondstring Australian attack, reaching 121-2 in the 24th over. But when John Anderson was lbw to Scott Boland, it sparked a mid-innings collapse that included the first-ball run-out of Sean Terry, who wandered out of his crease after a leg-before shout. Ireland tumbled to 198, though it was their highest score against Australia. It didn't help when Peter Chase spilled Usman Khawaja on eight, and he made Ireland pay, combining with Steve Smith in a second-wicket stand of 126*.
