Sri Lanka v Zimbabwe

At Harare, November 14, 2016. Sri Lanka won by eight wickets. Zimbabwe 154 (41.3 overs) (P. J. Moor 47, A. G. Cremer 31*; D. A. S. Gunaratne 3-21); ‡Sri Lanka 155-2 (24.3 overs) (D. M. de Silva 78*, D. P. D. N. Dickwella 41). Sri Lanka 5pts. MoM: D. M. de Silva. ODI debuts: C. T. Mumba (Zimbabwe); D. A. S. Gunaratne (Sri Lanka).
Put in on an unusually green pitch, under swing-friendly cloud, Zimbabwe were soon in trouble at 50-6. They recovered slightly, thanks to Peter Moor's adventurous batting - he heaved four leg-side sixes - and some late grit from skipper Graeme Cremer, but the target was still a modest one. It didn't help that, when Dhananjaya de Silva feathered the first ball of the chase to Moor, bowler Tinashe Panyangara had overstepped. De Silva pulled the free hit for four, and never looked back as Sri Lanka zoomed to a bonus-point victory.
