New Zealand v Sri Lanka, 2015-16

At Auckland, January 10, 2016. New Zealand won by nine wickets. Toss: New Zealand.
Sri Lanka's dispiriting tour ended with another shellacking from New Zealand's batsmen, to the delight of a crowd of 17,000. Mathews, with 81 not out from 49 balls, was the lone star of Sri Lanka's innings, but then had to watch helplessly as Guptill zoomed to his half-century in 19 balls, breaking by four the national record he already shared with Aaron Redmond. But Guptill owned the record for about 20 minutes, as Munro slammed a fifty from just 14 deliveries, winning the match with his seventh six, from the last ball of the tenth over. "I'm not sure what these two had for breakfast," said Williamson. "But it was unbelievable to watch."
Man of the Match: C. Munro.
