The outfield was slowed by a rare tropical downpour the day before the match, so Zimbabwe's total was better than it looked. Openers Peter Moor and Chamu Chibhabha - both out for ducks in the previous game - made half-centuries this time, and added 92. Chibhabha later dismissed Shahzad to set Afghanistan back, and added three more wickets with his gentle seamers for career-best figures as the series was squared.
