Noor Ali Zadran and Nawroz Mangal put on 134 for the first wicket in 25.5 overs, then Mohammad Nabi propelled the Afghans to a big total, adding 61* in the last 20 balls with Najibullah Zadran, who made 33* off eight. The Chairman's XI fell away after reaching 168-1.
