Cricket Australia XI v West Indians

At Brisbane (Allan Border Field), December 2-5, 2015. Cricket Australia XI won by ten wickets. ‡West Indians 243 (90.5 overs) (D. M. Bravo 51; S. Milenko 5-76) and 210 (58.2 overs) (J. O. Holder 65; R. A. Lees 3-68, C. J. Boyce 4-84); Cricket Australia XI 444 (104.2) overs) (J. M. Carder 58, J. J. Peirson 64, M. W. Short 76, J. J. Bazley 50; J. O. Holder 4-76) and 13-0 (2.5 overs).
The West Indians were routed by a hotchpotch team of six first-class debutants and nine players under 24 - and it would have been worse but for a wagging tail. They were 115-6 in their first innings and 97-7 in their second, and only some late-order runs averted an innings defeat. Queensland team-mates Simon Milenko (5-76 with his medium pace in the first innings) and leg-spinner Cameron Boyce (six in the match) were the chief destroyers. There was no respite for West Indies in the field: eight of the Cricket Australia XI reached 30 as they racked up 444.
