Turning Points

Rajasthan v Chennai, IPL 2010, Ahmedabad

28-Mar-2010
1. Naman Ojha had been a spectator during the strong start Michael Lumb provided Rajasthan Royals. He appeared more at ease against medium-pace and came into his own in the ninth over, taking Joginder Sharma for ten runs in three balls. There was no looking back.
2. Rajasthan were primed for at least 180 but Chennai Super Kings bowled a very good last over. Paras Dogra was run out trying to get Abhishek Jhunjhunwala on strike and, having got back on strike, Jhunjhunwala holed out to long-on. Shane Warne completed the hat-trick of wickets when he was run out without facing a ball.
3. M Vijay looked in outstanding touch, having smacked 42 from 27 balls, but he was run out trying a nonexistent single to his 28th ball faced. He worked the ball toward square leg and set off; Yusuf Pathan collected and hit the stumps with one hand.
