CD to host Wellington for warm-up match

Central Districts and Wellington are to play a three-day warm-up match for the forthcoming State Championship, at Nelson Park in Napier starting tomorrow. The CD team will be captained by Glen Sulzberger.

He will be without Jacob Oram, Michael Mason and Mathew Sinclair who are all in the Black Caps team which leaves on Wednesday for their five-match tour of Pakistan. Also unavailable for selection was Andrew Schwass who suffered an injury during a Hawke Cup match between Nelson and Wanganui at the weekend. The CD team for the opening match of the State Championship, also against Wellington, starting on December 1, will be named at the end of the match.

The CD team for the game is: Glen Sulzberger (capt), Peter Ingram, Jamie How, Craig Spearman, Ross Taylor, Jesse Ryder, Bevan Griggs, Regan West, Ewen Thompson, Richard Sherlock, Brent Hefford, Lance Hamilton.
