WOW what a champ he was , but sadly lost his vigor so early , i grew watching him on tv here in Pakistan ...... loved watching him bowl , though em a batsman , i try a gellispie when i get a rare bowling chance . ( of course in the nets ...lollz )
Strange that such a quality bowler as Jason Gillespie didn't got stardom as other bowlers of lesser caliber than him do get. I remember one particular delivery, he bowled to Mohd. Azharuddin in Mohali before 2000, India were chasing, and one delivery nearly ripped past Mohd. Azharuddin's middle-leg. Somehow, Azhar played it discomfortly. I just couldn't believe he survived that ripper.
