I am a big fan of Geoffrey Boycott. Bowl at Boycs used to be good show. Now with this terrible audio and no transcripts, the user experience is awful. ESPN should be better at these things, I guess.
Please provide the transcripts.
you can trust most other boards to see if they can salvage a player of extra ordinary talent. Like Murali with SLC(kept his back when jettisoning him would be easy), Ryder with NZC, even Symonds a bit with CA and Sreesanth with BCCI. No other board except WICB goes to war with it's own players.
No cricket board can be trusted. Remember Symonds being treated badly by CA. Compared to that this is nothing. But why hanging on to a poor captain in Cook? As an Australian supported I would be elated and would like to see another whitewash.
What cricket board can you trust?
I wish Cricinfo would provide the transcript like they did in the past. The audio is usually terrible and it's very difficult to understand what's being said.
Audio quality is not very good!
Having umpired a fair bit - I stand at the best spot to do the WHOLE job without interfering in the game. If a bowler is getting close to the line I have to adjust between looking at his front foot to watching for LBW or an edge.
Standing right up to the stumps means its MUCH harder to do justice to the bowler and batsman - and I'm there to do justice to both.
English cricket is digging itself into a hole before ashes. Being a sporstman, you should be able to forgive and forget and move on. Andrew Strauss is clouded by the #textgate incident. KP hang in there.
I think bowl at Boyce lost its charm.
