@coldcoffee123 Come on dude. Give credit where its due. Just because Ishant had some bad overs you forget the remaining 16 overs where India were awesome. Defending 130 in 20 over was terrific effort by the team.
Dhoni was luck to get away with this match and trophy. There was no justification in giving Ishant Sharma the 4th over after having gone for 7,9,11 runs in the first three. England still were favorites with Bresnan and Buttler. However, the inexperience of handling crunch situations proved costly for ENG. A half decent side like SL, WI would have hammered those 20 runs off 16 balls. India might have won this match, but Dhoni's bowling choices raises serious questions. It is such matches (where one teams plays poor cricket only to see the opposition playing even more sub-standard) that raise spot/match fixing rumors. But knowing Dhoni as an honest, committed cricketer, he has shown once again that he has got the Midas touch, that does not seem to be wearing off !!
India definitely deserved to win, simply because they were the best team in the competition and England was lucky to be in the final.
