@ Fan cric , Yes it is heartbreaking that none of the pakisten players were able to take part in the last 2 IPL tournaments .It seams that they & there countrymen are STILL hurting . Better luck next time.

It was good to read what MSD thought. In away, specialization has forced India to think of Boweres for different formats. So,Ishant and Sreesanth are to be groomed as test bowlers,The Next world cup takes place in the subcontinent,Jadeja,is the absence of anyone else,is by default the designated all rounder. Horses for courses on subcontinental pitches,Sehwag,Yuvraj,Raina,10/12 overs of "pie chucking" between them and you can utilize the likes of Praveen Kumar in 6/7 over spells, And still manage if the ageibng Zaheer and Nehra become cannon fodder.Whats important is you have a coach, and a very good captain who's inputs have to be paramount as India moves forward.Plan for the future,Dravid,Tendulkar and Lakshman are in the twilight of their careers.Blood the youngsters..

Yuvraj Singh will go down as one of the best limited overs batsman the world has seen? My God that's a laugh! The most overrated pretender the world has seen- absolutely yes!

It has been known for some time that the Indian bowling is not upto test class. India had class spinners in Kumble & Harbhajan with Zaheer Khan backing up well with pace. Without Kumble India's bowling is very weak. So India needs 2 pace bowlers urgently. For the time being Nehra and Kumar may answer the need but they are not 145 KMPH bowlers. In the spin department Chawla & Mishra show some promise but not Kumbles. Ashwin is the most promising spin bowler and must be at the top. Ojha in the left arm spin along with Karthiik are acceptable but not outstanding. As for the all rounders, Yuvraj has wasted his talents and now is past his best.Yusuf Pathan & Jadeja got too many chances but failed repeatedly. Irfan Pathan appears to be the best choice presently. Batting is the only skill which kept India in the contention. Indian selectors must run training camps for bowlers at various centres for pace, Spin to show the Indian need for good bowlers. This way India will bet better results.

There is no need to wait for World Cup 2011 result. Team India has already lost it. The day IPL came into exist Team India's fortunes had taken U turn now only ruins could be seen. Team India and BCCI is madly obsessed with Stupid, Rubbish, Non-Sense, Obsolete, Commercial event IPL, which is selling 6s and 4s on Lifeless Pitches. IPL-Mad Team India is losing Skill, Inspiration, Motivation, Hunger, Determination, Committment and Fitness to play International or Test Cricket on lively Pitches. Curators, Commentators and BCCI Officials are working for IPL growth rather than Cricket growth. Until IPL is not thrashed, Team India is not going to perform well in International Tournaments. Test, ODI & T20 Cricket is great to watch at International level on lively pitches, unlike IPL Teams which looks like club cricket and played on lifeless pitches.

India got a quality spinner & and all-rounder but fast bowling a major problem coz only zaheer can do nothing and also fast bowler need to work on line and length also on the movement of ball according to their ability SO BOWLER TRY HARD TO BE SELECTED ON WORLD CUP SQUAD
