ICC does U-turn on 2006 Oval Test result
Feb 1, 2009 The ICC has decided to change the result of the controversial 2006 Oval Test between England and Pakistan from a draw to an English victory, reversing an earlier decision
Pakistan forfeited the 2006 Oval Test against England after being accused by umpire Darrell Hair of ball-tampering. They were subsequently cleared and Hair sidelined out of international umpiring, leading him to sue over alleged racial discrimination. Hair made a comeback to Test umpiring in mid-2008.
