8.6 to UT Khawaja, edged, taken this time! Broad in the wickets. Spot on line and length. Full outside off, brings Khawaja forward and it's a regulation edge at a nice height to Root at first slip. 7/2
22.1 to M Labuschagne, knocks him over, Labuschagne is on his knees! Broad has bowled Marnus round his legs. He's been getting a long way over to the off side, almost batting outside his off stump, and Broad decides the best response is to go full and straight. Labuschagne gets into a huge tangle, almost catching his bat on his front pad, and he slips over as he loses middle and leg stump! Gleeful celebrations from England. 83/4
75.4 to NM Lyon, through him! Good length from Broad, and hits the top of middle-and-off as Lyon looks to slug him away through the leg side but swipes at thin air.. 303/10
832423.00394000
5.6 to DA Warner, edged, taken at second slip! A long duck for Warner. Lovely stuff from Robinson. In the channel outside off, just back of a length, Warner pushes at it and sends a healthy edge which Crawley takes very neatly. 3/1
9.5 to SPD Smith, gone! Taken at second slip...what a start from England. Robinson is all over them. Short of a length at off stump, climbs a touch and seams away from Smith, squares him up and comes off the shoulder of the bat, almost looping to Crawley. 12/3
18111536.385913300
57.6 to C Green, taken at deep midwicket! The short ball tactic works. Came back round the wicket, was banged in, Green went for the pull and couldn't have picked out the fielder any better. 236/6
63.2 to MA Starc, short and taken! Early breakthrough for England. Starc goes after the short delivery this time, can't get over the top of it, takes a top edge and Burns takes it comfortably at square leg. 246/7
67.1 to PJ Cummins, top edge, taken at deep square leg! More deserved reward for Wood. Round the wicket, another short ball, Cummins went for the pull and couldn't keep it down. Another catch for Crawley who barely had to move. 252/8
1526424.266510010
48.5 to TM Head, falls a ball later! Very similar shot to the one he played at 48.3, looking to work one over midwicket. Through the shot early, getting a leading edge, but this time it carries to Robinson, who takes a straightforward catch at mid-on. These milestones do funny things to batters... Head trudges off, frustrated at his lapse in concentration. 204/5
70.3 to AT Carey, through him! Inside edge into the stumps. Carey can't build on another start. Back of a length, Carey getting forward, takes an inside edge via the pad and his back elbow into the timber. 280/9

24.6 to BA Stokes, what a catch! Lyon with a blinder at point. Short of a length outside off, Stokes nailed the back-foot square drive and Lyon gets down low to his left. That's a gem. 85/5
46.2 to CR Woakes, an appeal for a catch down the leg side as Woakes flicks at this...and Cummins calls the review. There was a sound. Looks like the hip/jumper. But, well, well, there's a mark on Hot Spot as well! Woakes is gone here. 182/8
46.6 to SCJ Broad, dragged on! Full outside off, Broad reaches out for the drive, no footwork and it takes an inside edge into the stumps. That was one of the more predictable wickets you will see. 182/9
13.424543.29626000
7.6 to Z Crawley, caught at short leg! Inside-edged onto the pad, and it balloons up to Head under the lid. He takes it at the second attempt, and England have made another poor start... Angling into the right-hander on a good length, clipped into the pad, and Head did the rest, jumping up and juggling the first attempt before pouching the second. 29/2
21.4 to DJ Malan, strangled down the leg side! What a way to go. Full outside leg stump, a nothing delivery, Malan goes to clip it away and it's a thin edge through to Carey. Malan knew it, umpire didn't need to give him out. 78/3
23.4 to JE Root, big appeal and given lbw! Brilliant bowling from Cummins. A length delivery, nips past the inside edge and slams into the pads. That has come back a long way. Slightly surprised Root didn't review. Height, maybe? Well, umpire's call on height. Clipping the bails.. 81/4
47.4 to MA Wood, and that's that...didn't take Cummins long. Full and straight, Wood moving outside leg and goes for another big drive. 188/10
1463312.35716000
30.5 to OJ Pope, feathers one through to Carey! Boland has been happy to hang the ball wide outside the off stump and let his brilliant seam position do the hard work for him, and it's the same again here. No need to play at this, but Pope comes forward, pushing away from his body, and it nips in a fraction, taking the outside edge. 110/6
1004514.50447100
41.5 to SW Billings, hooked, taken at long leg! And it's that man Boland with the catch. Green strikes with the short ball. Billings got underneath it and didn't get enough on it to clear the boundary. Well-judged by Boland near the rope. Billings' promising stay is over. 152/7

0.3 to DA Warner, brilliant catch at point! Warner goes for a pair. Short outside off stump, Warner goes for a square drive and Pope dives full length to his right. Warner's second pair in Tests after Old Trafford 2019. 0/1
43.5 to C Green, fullish, nibbling away, Broad celebrappeals... but it's turned down! And there's an overthrow to cheer him up even more. Root opts for the review. Struck him above the knee roll on the back pad, but that back leg was braced as he came forward to defend. No bat on it. Hitting him in-line, and crashing into off stump, two-thirds of the way up! Green has to go. 112/7
55.1 to AT Carey, edged, caught behind! No half century for Carey. Round the wicket, wide outside off, he reaches out for it and gets a thin inside edge. He had some luck, but important runs from Carey. 151/9
1134013.63506001
3.1 to M Labuschagne, strangled down the leg side! Billings flings himself to his left for his first Test catch. A fraction short of a good length, fairly innocuous ball on the hip. Marnus looks to clip it away behind square but gets a faint tickle on it, and Billings dives to mop up behind the stumps. 5/2
1142302.09532000
16.323762.24773010
14.1 to UT Khawaja, vicious bouncer, 92mph/148kph, gloved behind! Brutish from Wood. Banged in short, aiming at the helmet. Khawaja picked the length up slightly late, swaying inside the line to avoid it hitting him in the throat, and couldn't drop his hands in time to get them out the way of the ball. A bit of glove on it, and Billings does the rest!. 33/3
22.3 to SM Boland, edged, caught behind! Nathan won't have to run through Brisbane today. Short delivery at off stump, Boland spars at it and gets a thin nick. England shift the nightwatch. 47/4
26.2 to TM Head, is that a tickle down leg side? Yes it is! Well, that's a moment. A Test match for leg-side catches continues. A short ball from Wood, Head looks to tuck it away and it just takes the faintest nick off the glove. The short-ball tactic works for England.. 59/5
28.2 to SPD Smith, taken at long leg! Oh boy, what a moment. What a session for Mark Wood. Smith falls for the short ball. It's a straight bouncer, Smith goes for the hook, takes the top edge and it's a comfortable catch for Malan. 63/6
46.1 to MA Starc, nudged to short leg, Wood has five! Raises the ball to acknowledge the crowd's ovation, as Starc trudges off. Back of a length, skidding through. Starc was jumping back looking to clip it behind square. Inside-edged into the hip, ballooning up for a relatively simple chance for Pope, by short leg standards. Wood on track for a career best. 89mph/143kph. 121/8
56.3 to PJ Cummins, cleaned up! A career-best six-wicket haul by Wood. A length delivery at the stumps, Cummins has a huge swing to the leg side and misses. 155/10

27.5 to BA Stokes, taken at deep square leg! Superb catch running in from Lyon. Starc dropped in the short ball and Stokes went after it. He didn't try to keep it down. Lyon makes good ground in off the rope and takes it diving forward. 92/4
12.534233.27576000
36.2 to OJ Pope, bowled around his legs! How has Pope managed that? Cummins gets in on the act, and the wheels are off. Nip-backer, keeps a touch low from a good length as Pope shuffles across, looking to work to leg. It nibbles past his front pad and into middle-and-leg. Terrible dismissal to end a gruesome series for England's most promising young batter. 107/7
38.3 to MA Wood, pulled into his own stumps! An undignified end to a solid series from Wood. He knew it would be short, jumping across to the off side, but was rushed on the hook and bottom-edged it straight into the base of middle. England have lost 9 for 55. 123/9
38.5 to OE Robinson, cleaned up by a full-bunger! England lose nine wickets in the nighttime session, and 10 for 56 all told. Robinson backed away to leg and threw the bat. Cummins' yorker was overpitched, but Robinson had stepped too far back to reach it, and watched it miss the toe and crash into the base of off stump. 124/10
1251831.50643000
31.4 to JE Root, keeps low, smashes into off stump! Root doesn't hit a single ball with his new bat after drinks. This is a real grubber, shooting through low and crashing into the bottom of the stump, underneath the toe-end of his bat. Root's series is over, another without a hundred in Australia. Not much he could have done about that!. 101/5
35.1 to SW Billings, feeble chip to mid-on! Boland has another and England are imploding again. Normal service for Boland, pitching on a good line and length. The ball stops a little in the pitch as Billings looks to clip through midwicket, but he can only spoon it up, straight to Cummins. 107/6
37.6 to CR Woakes, blinder from Carey! Woakes decides it's time to tee off and throws the bat at it, looking to slog through the leg side. Fullish length, thick outside edge, and Carey clings onto it, flinging himself to his right. It sticks in the webbing between his thumb and index finger... Australia are two wickets away from 4-0!. 115/8
612133.50274000
16.1 to RJ Burns, chopped on! Australia have the breakthrough and it's a familiar type of dismissal for Burns, on the stroke of tea/dinner. Angling in from around the wicket, unsure whether to play or leave. He opted for the latter, but too late to get his bat out of the way, and he only manages to deflect it onto his own stumps! Green strikes, England's highest opening stand of the series is broken.. 68/1
20.5 to DJ Malan, brilliant bowling! This has been outstanding from Green. It's an inside edge in the end, but Malan has been worked over. Short of a length from round the wicket, Malan is late bringing his bat down and it deflects into the stumps. 82/2
22.2 to Z Crawley, edged, gone! Magical spell from Green. Full at off stump, lures the drive and Carey dives to his right to grab a neat one. 83/3
